Pogo Pops
Pogo Pops are for many synonymous with the joyful and catchy pop music that was the trade mark of “the Bergen scene” in the greater part of the 1990’s. With lead singer Frank Hammersland´s remarkably melodic vocals, their “Beatles marinated” songs quickly became the buzz of Norwegian music. This in turn cumulated into a Norwegian Grammy. Songs like “The Great Fall” and “Man Inside My Head” were put into heavy rotation on Norwegian radios, and the albums “Pop Trip” and “Crash” were labeled “A Pop Classic” by most of the leading music critics in the country.
Up until 1996, the band released two additional albums, “Pure” and “Surf”, before taking a nearly 10 year break. But now they are back! With this unique way of giving out their album, you now can indulge in brand new Pogo Pops material. And best of all – great music can be absolutely free. Download “Where The Action Is” in mp3 format, and decide for yourself how much you want to pay. Depending on the price range, you can also collect previously unreleased material, part of the “Lost And Found” album, or get their debut EP as an added bonus. You will also find CD covers on these pages. We take music downloading seriously, and strive to make it as effortless as possible for you to obtain the products you desire.
